The MRP (Material Requirements Planning) module revolutionises the way in which you plan and raise your production and purchasing requirements by taking stock of the global demand a supply within your business as well as production and supplier lead times to ensure that your requirements arrive on time.

Stay in charge of your requirement panning with MRP, one of the most powerful modules within the suite & remove the hassle and time out of purchase and production planning helping you to fulfil your requirements without any embarrassing stock outs.

Prior to running MRP (on a daily basis or as often as you wish) the user first selects the period it wishes to cover. The choices are Weekly, Monthly or daily. MRP then performs the following steps systematically:

  • Incorporates the latest sales order book data
  • Incorporates the latest purchase order data
  • Incorporates the latest works order data
  • Incorporates the latest stock data
  • Incorporates the latest bill of material data
  • Identifies net requirements (plus minimum stock if applicable) for finished and sub-assembly items

  • Identifies net requirements (plus minimum stock if applicable) for bought in and raw material items
  • Applies purchase lead times to bought in and raw material items
  • Applies manufacturing lead times to finished and sub-assembly items
Once completed the user can print off the MRP report or simply go straight to raising the works orders and/or purchase orders which can be accepted or edited prior to printing ensuring you have the final say.

No need to rekey data as like all other Factory-Master modules, MRP creates Works Orders automatically within Production Control module and creates Purchase Orders automatically within the Purchase Order Processing module.
