 The Estimating & Quotation module standardises the way in which you produce quotations and fully automates their creation. All quotations are stored in a central database where you can quickly call up, print, email or fax professional looking quotations at the touch of button.
Log customer enquires relating to particular products and produce rapid professional looking quotations based on estimates, previous quotations (for the same or similar part) or user definable prices to help you manage your pipe-line and increase sales conversions. If used in conjunction with our sales order processing module, quotations can be automatically turned into sales orders at the touch of a button saving you invaluable time and effort whilst maintaining accuracy throughout Quotation based on an estimates are built up by defining all the components the item is made from and as well as the processes (internal & sub-contract). The associated costs are then amalgamated to produce an overall cost where an acceptable margin can be applied (your quotation price) ensuring acceptable profit margins whilst still helping you to stay competitive.
For speedier quotation production where you don’t want to spend time defining the component and process costs, the system can bypass this estimating phase and instead allow you to manually define your own quotation price or if the item has been quoted for previously or has a list price, this can be automatically applied instead saving you time whilst still maintaining acceptable margins and staying competitive.
Whichever method you choose to obtain your quotation prices, these can either be accepted or overridden with a ‘commercially’ more suitable price. Additionally quantity discounts can be optionally applied. After selecting from an unlimited choice of opening and closing paragraphs (definable by you), professional looking quotations can be immediately produced in the format of your choice straight from your PC and either printed, e-mailed or faxed. Once accepted by your customer, save time and eliminate the need to re-key data by automatically transferring quotations into sales orders at the touch of a button.
